Salad fit for a King

We grow Ulam Raja, a local herb which can be used as salad. Ulam Raja literally means Salad fit for a King. There are ten such plants, all growing healthy.... The leaves look very much like marigolds, but snails never like them, so they are very safe for now......

We use the shoots for salad... I let them grow a bit more before nibbing the shoots for salad ....

We had a few of these last year at the corner of our garden. I think we just overfeed the plants and they grew to about six feet. Ordinarily, these plants grow to about waist level....

As steph says, its yummy. I blend the leaves once in a while and drink the juice... A little bit like Guava (jambu batu), its taste...

    CHEERS!!
