Roselles having companions

Roselles are growing well. They do have strong stems and are able to withstand the test of weather, the heat and the wind. We squeezed spinach in between. It worked by creating a denser mass to handle wind. We picked spinach periodically through thinning process for dinner soup. A month from now, roselles will be on their own, spinach will all be gone.

I did a post on roselle 2 weeks ago, as we place the seedlings into the bed. [Tuesday, May 26, 2009 : So, its roselle's turn! ]

After two weeks they are different .... definitely growing sharing the little space with temporary companions, the spinach.
