Winged beans for salads

There are more and more winged beans to pick. For the two of us, we don't need many. Three or four would be enough to spice up the appetite. Therefore neighbors are enjoying the winged beans as much as the gardener themselves .....

  4. Unusual beans. They must taste good, though, for you to eat them and give them away. Happy eating!

  6. BARRY.. weird indeed, but nice, and crunchy!

SALITYPE.. You really have to get home more often, for a lovely winged beans dish!

POETIC... the edges are thin and a little bit soft, but the central portion is much harder and definitely very crunchy!... Raw as salad or cooked, just the same, mouth watering....

MARY DELLE... thanks, really..., how much can a person eat... and beans have their own production rate exceeding our small family consumption. Give away to neighbours just a natural thing to do...

OCEAN GIRL.... You are giving a clue about your name. Winged beans are popularly known as kacang kelisa or kacang botol in some part of the country. If Lisa is your name, then your mom and dad had chosen a sweet and lovely name indeed.... it cannot be botol!.. hehe.
