Mount Kinabalu: reaching out for the cloud.

Three years ago, all of us went up to Mount Kinabalu, the highest point in South East Asia. We didn't climb  up to the peak though, just at the base, enjoying the sight, the clouds, and the virgin nature...  The weather was fairly cool then, being high on altitude and the cooling effect of virgin jungle around it.  Six of us , Bangchik, Kakdah, Farah and her husband Ramli, Yeop and Izwan. We went up with two cars, yellow and silver. We were welcome by the clouds so low that we could almost touch and kiss......

That was 3 years ago.

The road was winding. That in itself was a marvelous experience. Looking up or looking down was exiting.

The surroundings were very nice, green all over, dense and compact. I wish I had climbed up the mountain. Some other day, or some other time...
