A view I enjoy most, Sitiawan

a rural view, Sitiawan.

The view is on the right side of mother in law's house. A few coconut trees are towering high above everything else. There are mango trees, rambutan and kedondong trees squeezed in between. And this is the best rural view which is very haunting and keep pulling kakdah back to her home town, Sitiawan. It is normal too, to see a few electrical and telephone lines hanging from pole to pole. A true tropical and rural feel........

A visit to Sitiawan is rejuvenating indeed.

Coconut trees are most beautiful when they are tall and cant afford to keep the verticality... and they sway to the tune of winds.

Just as we love the sight of christmas trees.. so green and straight.

The place looks peaceful but not when the whole clan comes crowding on festival days..

Yes, being rural is closest to what nature intends to be..

But I am not too sure, if it is the tall palm trees or the rural setting that she loves, or the chance of seeing her mother as the primary reason for wanting to get back there...

  18. Do all those trees continue to produce well, even when they get old? That is a beautiful view.

  19. p3chandan ~ Kakdah grew up in Pantai Remis and resided in Sitiawan after school era. She more or less the downline of Hjh Mariam clan.. haha.

islandgal246 ~ difficult to describe the taste, definitely not sweet.... in Malay language the taste is said to be "kelat"

Corner Gardener Sue ~ Most trees stay within our short stinct on earth... coconut trees will go for 100 years.
