Colorful leaves, ati-ati.

Kakdah has a knack for flowers and colorful leaves. So ati-ati coleus blumei seems to be one of her favorites. The plant is so easy to propagate, cut a section with a couple of nodes and just insert into the soil. It will grow in no time ....

Five of these are growing on the flower bed and another two in pots. Their flowers are quite nice and pleasing.

Not many plants come with multicolored leaves. Ati-ati or coleus is one. A very simple plant, requires no special care, but it produce nice little blue flowers attached to a long stalk...
Thanks and have a great day!

  7. Bangchik, I'll admit to pinching out the blooms of my coleus since i love them solely for the foliage. Rooting is easy as is training them into a standard...give that a try for a cool little tree.

Btw, thought of you guys when I came across fresh lychees in NYC recently...
