I have been taking pictures of our sunflowers as they are about to bloom. When the yellow petals open up and expose those little florets,
we are coming to the climax of sunflower blooming.

What a wonderful series of photos! Sunflowers are one of the exception to the 'no flowers' rule on my patch because they attract bees to the garden.
ReplyDeleteSunflowers have to be one of the most cheerful flowers on this planet! Just looking at them makes me feel like smiling. Unfortunately I never get to seethe climatic moments of its blooming... the parrots get to them before that and rip them up for the seeds :(
