HOMETOWN SITIAWAN - AIDIL FITRI 2014

We were back home in Sitiawan celebrating the recent Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. The house was crowded accommodating 4 generations. The compound was fairly large able to take 20 cars. On the second day of Raya, Azri was trying to put his new grass mower into action at the other side of lawn far away from cars.  I thought the view was unique, a mower among vehicles.

We took photos for the occasion, men without the regular sampin.
It was middle of the day, so sampin had to go
as weather getting a little bit hot.

There was one old cempedak tree at the front of the house bearing lot of fruits.
Too bad, none was ripe then.

  7. Salam Aidilfitri Bang Chik & Kak Dah,

The sight of fruits hanging on the trees are really delightful. We had duku-langsat around the clock during Raya at my hometown, Muar, recently. Almost missed the manggis - got a taste of a few of its last batches, luckily. :D
