Community Garden of Precint 9, Putrajaya
[program bumi hijau presint 9 putrajaya]

lovely cabbage, their best veggies

Sunday Morning.
We came across the place early in the morning. I thought of dropping by and view things. There were women in red t-shirts. Such a lovely gesture, to come around community garden with bright colored uniforms..... these fellow participants in this community garden. I chatted with them and asked permission to take photos. But I didnt tell them about posting photos in blog. I hope they dont mind.... haha.

a man putting a poster
for some gardening program for the youth.
Look at the BIKE!!!

A man there was saying
about some veggies not doing too well,
especially chilies and brinjals.
They dont use pesticide he said.

red clad women...
busying themselves, at far end.

they have roselles too!
A first timer in the plot.... I hope mine will bloom this nice.

  5. Cabbage looks splendid! I do that too, take photos of people and post them on my blog without asking. I think people usually like that sort of thing. Makes them feel special. I liked this post a lot!

As I toured around the garden that day, cabbage really stood out as their best!... I am not too sure if they really practice crop rotation... cabbage and roselle definitely are first timer in the plot... the others has been grown there before.. The shade cloth is very practical in our weather, prospero.

The plants look good generally.., but I am sure as any other gardening adventure, there will be a little bit of ups and downs; pests, wilting, etc...
