Miracle Berries - it wasn't long, February to April.

It is a way to understand miracle berry better. I have never followed closely the time taken for  red ripe miracle berry to appear after initial buds forming. I search through my old photos and try to assess. I found out, there wasn't  many photos to show in March 2014, since I had been out of town many times.

So it doesn't take too long for berries to ripen after the appearance of buds.  and the next observation will focus on how long will the plant rest, before it collects enough nutrients to sprout little buds.

  12. Hi there! This is so interesting to see the whole process of a miracle berry; from the appearance of its first buds to its transformation into a red ripe miracle berry. Actually I have never eaten a miracle berry before and I’m not even sure if it grows in my country; but it was still really amazing to see the on-going growth of what looks like a very yummy fruit! Keep on posting :)

I was thinking of creating my own little garden as a past time and I think your blog can help me so much. I don't have a big landscape but I think i would like to start with pot plants.

  16. Hello:) we call this plant here in the Philippines the "magic fruit". I once sampled a berry and after eating the pulp (tip:the slimy part around the seed has the magic substance according to my professor) and then I placed the calamasi (Philippine lemon) in a spoon then drink it. Wow, the sour juice taste very sweet! I was amazed! I think, this fruit will be a big help to diabetic people (just an opinion) in drinking sugarless coffee :)

I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.

I'm looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

  26. The Miracle Berry makes acidic and sharp nourishments taste sweet. It does this with a protein called miraculin. The Miracle Berry could be utilized to decline sugar utilization, which could effectsly affect weight reduction. This article gives a decent prologue to the Miracle Berry.
