sunn hemp, I can see seed pods.

Sunn hemp (Crotalaria juncea L) is a tropical legume. Traditionally, sunn hemp is grown for fiber. Nowadays, some farmers grow them as green manure and nitrogen fixing. I bought seeds from ebay and grow them for seeds production. Now there is a glimpse of hope.

The intention is to collect enough seeds for the next crop here and my Seri Iskandar home. I hope luck is with us...

    1. Its a tall plant, a weed some would say, and it just goes straight up. I have no idea about its Malay name..... Yes, Its flower is sweet.

  2. Ah, have not seen you for a long time on the blog. Love the pictures of the sunn hemp. This leguminous plant is interesting as we have not got it here, unfortunately too cold. It looks pretty but I think it grows like a weed, is n't it?

    1. I have collected enough seeds for future projects. I have been regrowing sunnhemp with seeds collected. So far so good.
