We can come up with the most beautiful garden design, but to see it through, digging, moving the earth, germinating and planting is hard work. Tiring, but it's fun and rewarding. I came to Pasir Gudang Johor late last year, and the space at the back of the house was so tempting. A simple sketch was drawn and the rest is a journey of backyard gardening....

Wow, your gardens have really grown and are looking wonderful...
ReplyDeleteSkeeter: thanks, garden really grow as we view progress over six months in a single post, like a fast mode. But as we view plants everyday, progress seems to be crawling...
DeleteBangchik jual ya hasil tanaman yang banyak ni?
ReplyDeletenudabuffy: hasil tanaman untuk makan sendiri dan untuk rakan dan jiran. Kalau jual pun cuma anak2 pokok saja yang berlebih.
Deletewow, I love your garden design especially having to walk through the garden to get to the washing. You are growing a few vegetables I want to try
ReplyDeleteafricanaussie: it can be very wet and soggy during rainy season, so the walkway helps kakdah very much. But cutting grass around walkway is very delicate.....
DeleteIs that your 2000 peppers? Your garden looks wonderful. I am happy it is coming to a reality from such an organized dream.
ReplyDeleteSara: that 2000 peppers project is not mine. A team is working on it. The vegetable plot is my playground before sunset almost everyday whenever I am around.
DeleteObviously yr beautiful garden started with hope and dreams ha… I really envy yr determination and hardworking… If there is truly ‘knowledge market” out there, I’m sure yr experience is much more expensive than 100kg of Tahu…
ReplyDeletefaudzi: Most projects start with the end in mind. Targets, aims are dreams, the route is full of things to do. Everything in the garden is experiential journey without guru or consultant!
DeleteWay to go Bang Chik!! All the efforts and determination paid off. Now you can sit back and smile on your success. Congratulations :) May your garden be blessed, amin.
ReplyDeleteAsh:..... as they say, "you reap what you sow". I cant really sit back and smile, because gardening has no end.... so far so good.
Deletewow, wow, wow!!!what can i say :)
ReplyDeleteHada Masayu:..... it's alright to be speechless... haha.
DeleteUnknown: thank you,
ReplyDeleteI like your blog, its very helpful, this year will be my first attempt at vegetable gardening, I hope for a successful garden.
