Betik, Papaya, five lobes. (update no 4)
Someone was saying, a female papaya plant will have more five lobe leaves than three lobe, Now I am beginning to see five love leaves emerging....

gosh I will have to check that out - i thought you could only tell once they started flowering....
ReplyDeleteSo the whole idea is to only plant those with lot of five lobes... and wait for the result. It may take months. Some even try planting 3 seedlings in one hole and wait for the first to flower. Then the rest will be chopped off.

ReplyDeleteI read somewhere, in a fruit female seeds constitute 70% and male 30%. Statistically the chance is they end up flowering and bearing fruits... sometimes we could be totally unlucky...
