Not all is green in our garden. This BEGONIA is one of the few exception. We have them in 3 pots. The photographs show Begonia at Kakdah's hanging garden... red and red....
As mentioned by most, the flowers really look delicate. The long stalk branch out nicely, the flowers are white with yellow in the middle.
The locals dont call these plants Begonia, but "pokok asam batu" instead. I remembered my late Mother having these plants around the house.... haha, we used to pinch a bit of the leaf, very chewable indeed, sweet sour in taste. Nice!
