Andrea Yes, you definitely missed the first. The first stalk has gone, and now the second stalk of yellow orchids. I picture it that way, lonesome, but it can never be lonely with so many plants in the garden.
Malar The flower is tiny, that we can only appreciate it standing close, nose almost touching the lovely flower.

This orchid is in a pot hanging, with flowers protruding out of the shade. The yellow is striking. But the size is tiny for great impact. It is best to view close...., breathing down the petals.

ReplyDeleteMy oncidiums are on a tree in my garden. Sometimes they bloom like crazy and grow as long as well over 2 feet!!
