There are flowers everywhere, nice and not so nice included. Some are from plants we grow but some stay wild as weeds. Some are best remembered as vegetables. I exclude orchids....

Hi Bangchik, very nice pictures of your flowers. The wild weed flowers are cute. I also like the rose that Kakdah has, lovely!
ReplyDeleteAh .. I know the name of your third picture. Hop on to Its not lantana, guys
ReplyDeleteThe plant in Photo # 4 ~ I got the same plant from a fellow neighbour. The leaves look like the wings of butterflies and they will close up in the evening. Very beautiful plant. But I also don't know the name of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog. The Melaka Satay Celup is similar to Steamboat. The difference is in the soup used. The soup is more gravy like. It's gravy is made of peanuts & rempah, similar to satay sauce. Very delicious!

ReplyDeleteThanks.., the roses are quite small in size, but the way I portray them as if they are big. Small or big, roses are just beautiful.....
>lili..,
ReplyDeleteSo they are 'Sunset Bell' or 'Chrysothemis Pulchella' or copper leaf or sunset bell or black Flamingo.
All within the big family of Gesneriaceae.. Thanks Cikgu!!

ReplyDeleteYou are right about the butterfly look and how they close themselves in the evening. There is one plant called "pokok pukul lima", and it is biologically very precise about closing up its leaves around 5 pm, without fail.
